  The only bad thing was that when you are under 24 yo you have to pay an extra fee of 35 dollars every week, but I rented the car for more than two months so that was not a big problem.

  If this is the same kiwi owner as a few years ago il gladly give a review...wat a pig of a man...because i had a surfboard in a bag he abused me..then wen after 6 weeks i bought the car back he looked over it for 20 mins he found a stain the size of a 10 cent piece and charged 50 bucks.......wat a scaby ignorant clown

  I also required the car for a few hours longer than the contract ran for, and the company negotiated a time with us for no extra charge, leaving the car at the compound after hours.

  I've used backpacker car rentals twice, and had great service both times. The cars aren't brand new, but in my experience, reliable, tidy, and VERY reasonably priced.
